Data Deletion Instructions
Effective: July 3, 2026 · Goat Studio (Puya Ventures LLC, New York)
What this page covers
If you have connected a social media account (such as Instagram or TikTok) to Goat Studio, this page explains how to disconnect it yourself, what data that removes, and how to request deletion of your entire Goat Studio account and all associated data.
Option 1 — Disconnect a social account yourself
You can disconnect a connected social account at any time, without contacting us:
- Sign in to your Goat Studio account.
- Go to Settings.
- Find the connected publishing account (e.g. your Postiz-connected Instagram or TikTok account) under the account/publishing section.
- Click Disconnect, then confirm — disconnecting requires a second confirmation so it cannot happen by accident.
This immediately and permanently deletes, for that account:
- Stored access tokens and API keys used to publish on your behalf.
- Cached account metadata (account/page/profile ID, username, display info).
- Any posts scheduled but not yet published for that account.
Content that has already been published to the platform is not affected by disconnecting — that content lives on the platform itself and is managed there (e.g. deleted directly in Instagram or TikTok, or via your platform account settings). Historical performance metrics we had already recorded for past posts (likes, views, etc.) are retained as analytics history unless you request full deletion under Option 2.
Option 2 — Request full account and data deletion
To delete your entire Goat Studio account and all data we hold about you — including all connected-account metadata, cached tokens, scheduled and historical post records, and performance analytics — email us at hello@goatstudio.ai with the subject line “Data deletion request” from the email address associated with your account.
We will confirm receipt, verify the request is coming from the account owner, and complete deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
- Stored OAuth tokens / API keys for every connected social account.
- Cached account and profile metadata pulled from connected platforms.
- Scheduled posts that have not yet been published.
- Historical post and performance-metric records tied to your account.
- Your Goat Studio operator/member profile and login access.
Some records may be retained briefly beyond 30 days only where required for security audit logs or legal obligations, consistent with the retention terms in our Privacy Policy.
